Fuquay-Varina Independent - June 14, 2006 (New Release)
CenterPeace Companion Care, LLC located in Fuquay-Varina, and serving Wake, Johnston, Harnett and Durham Counties has been awarded license by the NC Department of Health and Human Services - Division of Facility Services to offer the additional service of In Home Aide.
CenterPeace has offered companion services, to a diverse population, since September 2005. These services have included companionship, prescription pick up, medication reminder, laundry, light meal preparation, incidental transportation and respite for family members.
With the licensure for In Home Aide, services now include assistance with dressing, bathing, eating, toileting, transferring, incontinence and other assistance of this nature. Genel Webb, Managing Director and co-owner with husband Chuck, share that they and other staff are “very excited and pleased as it allows us to offer a much needed service to the area.” It is a particularly good news for southwestern Wake County residents, as it has been a bit under served as it relates to In Home Aide services.
